ok, so here’s a truth about me:

i don’t own a television, so i rely on the internet to give me my fill for drama (or at least the drama i can’t necessarily fit into my own life)

project runway is the PERFECT answer for me (among a few others you may hear about later…if i ever get around to writing about them) because:

1 - the people on it are so passionate

2- the people are so committed to and crazy about their crafts

3 - the contestants (people…i had to change it up for you) are determined to win

these three things alone make my life look so possible, mainly because I feel the same way about my passions and crafts and i want to win. however i’m not on national television. daunting to say the least.

then there’s:

4 - they help me redefine my purpose and drive

5 - each challenge they have to complete gives me a renewed sense that i can do whatever i set my mind to

6 - i’m also reminded that i have more than 24-48 hours to complete any one task, however

7 - i’m finally reminded that the race is not given to the swift but the one that endureth til the end

8 - (which brings me to remember) i’m still here
